Happy Weekend!!

Hope you guys are all enjoying this beautiful day! Its beautiful here. Its in the mid 80's and just very very pretty out! I have been up and going at it for a little while now. My sister in law got in a few hours ago. We went to breakfast and then they followed me to the dealership. I stayed a few minutes, then went and got some steaks for dinner, then came back home. Trina and her boyfriend are now checked into the Hampton and resting before coming over for dinner. I tried getting them to stay here but they wanted some alone time so they are enjoying being at the hotel for a while!

I am still feeling pretty tired. I have a feeling I will tell them goodbye tonight and sleeping in tomorrow. I really need it. I have been half asleep all day..Even now I am sleepy..that dang Royal Wedding messed up my entire schedule! But I love it!!! Its so beautiful! I didn't have that wedding but I believe I have that kind of marriage. Last night I was cuddled up to Scott in the bed and he just smelled so good to me. I was very content just laying there snuggled up..He is one of the best smelling men I have ever been with. I was thanking God while laying there for bringing me this wonderful man.. I don't know why I got really lucky and blessed but I am as grateful as I can be for my life. I cant believe I am saying that. But the fact of the matter is my life has had so many ups and downs..Some of the downs were horrible..A few years ago I was missing all my loved ones who passed over ( 6 in 1 1/2 years ) and I just wanted to die to be with them. I couldn't even breath at moments...The pain was so real. So present and there was nothing I could do to get them back. I am surprised I lived through that. My uncle Joey was the last one to pass and that was one of the hardest funerals of my life. Also my brothers and grand fathers was horrible too. I think the main reason for me being alive at this moment is that husband of mine. God bless him for going through all that with me. He has really changed my life. I am a truly blessed woman and last night in bed I was truly thankful.

He should be coming home in just a few minutes. I have to have him stop to the store but hopefully he will be here before long. Tonight we are all staying in and hanging out here for evening. We figured it would be better to be laid back tonight instead of running all over town!

I got in the mail the next make up giveaway!! Will either have that post up either today or tomorrow! I think its a great giveaway!!!! Cant wait to share it with you guys! I was going to do a Easter giveaway but I got behind and never did it!! Sorry...But I am thinking you guys will like this one!

Well I am off to get somethings done around the house!

Talk to you guys later tonight!!

Enjoy the weekend!

Sealed with a { Royal } kiss!!!

I must confess, still a little caught up in the romance of it all, the stolen glances and secret smiles, the horse-drawn carriages and chantilly lace, the balcony kisses and moments so breathtakingly lovely, can barely stand it . . .

Prince William & Princess Catherine, the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge

Detail of the insanely stunning wedding gown, put together by hand by Aarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, it is a perfect intermingling of tradition and modernity, with a bodice of ivory satin made of hand-cut english lace and french chantilly lace, over ivory and white satin gazar {a sheer, lightweight silk organza with a glaze-like sheen and moderate stiffness}; individual flowers were hand cut from lace and hand-engineered onto the ivory silk tulle to create the design, which features rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrocks, the national flowers of england, ireland, scotland, and wales; 58 gazar & organza covered buttons ran up the back.

The eight-tiered royal wedding cake was decorated with 900 delicate sugar-paste flowers, including 17 different blooms and foliage for their meaning and symbolism, known as the language of flowers.

The veil was made of layers of ivory silk tulle and trimmed with hand-embroidered flowers, sewn on by the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace.

The bridal bouquet included myrtle, lily-of-the-valley, hyacinth and sweet william blooms; in keeping with royal tradition, stems from a myrtle planted by Queen vVctoria in 1845 were also added; according to tradition, the bouquet of a royal bride will be left on the tomb of the unknown solider in Westminster Abbey; the late Queen Mother began the ritual by leaving her wedding bouquet at the grave in 1923 in memory of her brother, Fergus, who was killed in the first world war.

And of course, with all of this week's talk of tiaras . . . Kate's 'something borrowed' was the Cartier Jalo Tiara, made in 1936 and purchased by King George VI for his wife !Queen Elizabeth {the Queen mother} three weeks before he succeeded his brother as King; the tiara was presented to Princess Elizabeth, now the Queen, by her mother on the occasion of her 18th birthday; the new Princess Catherine matched the tiara with earrings by Robinson Pelham, a gift from her parents inspired by the new Middleton coat of arms.

A " ROYAL" Night..

Its a Royal Night for all of us.. Well for some of us its a Royal Morning! Right now its 1:51 am and its almost 6am. I can only imagine she is up getting ready for one of the biggest days of her life! I am very excited for her!!!

The jewels are priceless symbols of the British monarchy found under under armed guard in the Jewel House at the Tower of London. You should see them because they are the greatest working collection of Crown Jewels in the world and priceless symbols of British monarchy They include the world’s most famous diamonds, the enormous Cullinan I (the biggest diamond ever found) and the notorious Koh-i-Noor

23,578 gems that make up the Crown Jewels, including the glistening Imperial State Crown, which alone has 2,868 diamonds, 273 pearls, 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds and 5 rubies.

And you men wonder why diamonds are a girls best friend!?

Any the Tower isn't all about the diamonds...Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, more commonly known as the Tower of London, is a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames in central London, England. It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. The White Tower, which gives the entire castle its name, was built by William the Conqueror in 1078, and was a resented symbol of oppression, inflicted upon London by the new ruling elite. The castle was used as a prison since at least 1100, although that was not its primary purpose. A grand palace early in its history, it served as a royal residence. The Tower is a complex of several buildings set within two concentric rings of defensive walls and a moat. There were several phases of expansion, mainly under Kings Richard the Lionheart, Henry III, and Edward I in the 12th and 13th centuries. The general layout established by the late 13th century remains despite later activity on the site.

The peak period of the castle's use as a prison was the 16th and 17th centuries, when many figures fallen into disgrace, such as Elizabeth I before she became queen, were held within its walls. This use has led to the phrase "sent to the Tower".

Just a bit more British History!!

Any way today was kind a easy day. I didn't feel good and I didn't force myself to do much. I made BLT's for dinner and we enjoyed a night in front of TV. 20/20, American Idol, & Greys Anatomy..I was feeling pretty bad through all the shows. But then I took a long shower and it kinda helped. I am forcing myself to stay up to see this wedding. And just in case..both DVR's are set to record! I will watch them a couple of times anyway! But trying my hardest to stay up. Got a busy day tomorrow so I am thinking as soon as I can after the balcony kiss I will be trying to get a couple hrs of sleep to get me through Friday. I have things to do tomorrow so I need a little sleep!

Scott was in a happy mood tonight. We must have slow danced in the kitchen for 10 minutes.. with no music..He is such a true romantic! It really felt good just being held.. He kinda looked tired too and then he went to bed and got up sick..I think it was his medicine that upset his stomach but who knows.. Hes now sound a sleep and snoring like Godzilla! So I'd say he is feeling better!!

I have been watching TV and playing with the cats while writing this post and its already 230 am.. Wedding Coverage starts in 30 minutes.. So far I'm still up.. 6 am is going to be hard for me!

Right now Giovanni is running around here causing all kinds of hell..Before long he will be trying to climb the curtians!!! He gets in so much trouble!!!

Hope you guys had a great day! Soooo happy Friday is here! I am hoping for Sushi Dojo tonight! Lets just see if I can talk Scott into it!

Scott's sister is heading down today sometime to buy a car from Scott. I think she is spending a night either here or in a hotel so its going to be a busy weekend!

I might be blogging again if I stay up and watch this wedding so stay posted if you are up watching!!

Prince William, Kate Middleton
Post image for NBC Will Air Prince William & Kate Middleton Special November 16th

Note: all times local to London. Not so good with the math? East Coasters, subtract five hours; West Coasters, subtract eight. Hawaii? You may as well just call in sick now, cause you ain't getting any sleep.)

8:15-9:45 a.m. Guests, of the general congregation variety, begin arriving at the North Door of Westminster Abbey.

8:30 a.m. Duke? Earl? Plain old Prince? This is around the time when Queen Elizabeth will announce which titles, if any, will be bequeathed to the couple.

9:50 a.m. The distinguished guests begin to trickle in, including Prime Ministers, the Diplomatic Corp and Governors-General. And a whole bunch of people you will never, ever rub shoulders with.

10:10 a.m. Prince William and Prince Harry depart together from Clarence House and make the short drive to Westminster Abbey. Commence squealing.

10:15 a.m. They arrive. The groom is expected spend several minutes mingling with guests and relatives before retiring to the attached Chapel of St. Edmund, where he will spend roughly 20 minutes in quiet reflection with his best man Harry and members of the clergy.

10:20 a.m. Members of the royal family arrive. At this time, Kate's mom Carole Middleton and brother James Middleton leave the Goring Hotel.

10:25 a.m. The remaining members of the royal family leave Buckingham Palace for the Abbey.

10:27 a.m. (Yes, the times are this specific, if you think anything will be left up to chance for the big day, then you have another think coming) Carole and James arrive at the Abbey.

10:35 a.m. Will's cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, along with other members of the royal family, leave Buckingham Palace.

10:38 a.m. Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles leave Clarence House.

10:40 a.m. Beatrice and Eugenie arrive at the Abbey. At the same time, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip leave Buckingham Palace.

10:42 a.m. Prince Charles and Camilla arrive at the Abbey.

10:45 a.m. Queen Elizabeth arrives at the Abbey. She and Philip are to be the last of the VIPs to arrive. Duh.

10:48 a.m. The bridesmaids and page boys, corralled by maid-of-honor Pippa Middleton, leave Goring Hotel.

10:51 a.m. Here comes the bride! Kate and her father Michael Middleton depart in a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI (from Prince Charles' fleet) from Goring Hotel to the Abbey.

10:55 a.m. Pippa & Co. arrive at the Abbey.

11 a.m. Kate, and her much speculated-upon dress, arrive. As soon as she steps out of the vehicle and the world gets its first glimpse at the gown, Buckingham Palace will announce the details and designer of her dress and all will once again be right with the world. As the world's fashion press try to contain themselves, Kate herself will begin the 300-foot walk down the Abbey's aisle to meet William in an area of the church dubbed the Lantern, and the ceremony will commence. Speakers set up along the wedding procession will be relayed to the crowd outside.

The service will be officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, while the Bishop of London, Right Rev. Richard Chartres (long established as Will's favorite cleric, who has been counseling the Prince and Kate, and confirmed the bride-to-be into the Church of England last month), will give the address. The ceremony itself will feature many musical performances, and will be led by the Dean of Westminster. Only one ring swap will occur—William has chosen not to wear a wedding band.

12:05 p.m. The service ends. But before it does, a fanfare of trumpets will ring out to mark the exact moment they tie the knot.

Carriage, Prince William, Kate Middleton

12:15 p.m. Bells will herald the newlyweds' departure, via (weather permitting) a 1902 State Landau Coach (the same open carrier ridden by Prince Charles and Diana) to Buckingham Palace. If it rains, they'll opt for the enclosed Glass Coach. The carriage procession, which will include an escort by the Household Cavalry, will be followed by the Queen's procession, and the entire group will make its way back to Buckingham Palace. The convoy will include senior royals, the Middleton family, guests, and a military procession.

12:30 p.m. The duo arrives at Buckingham Palace, followed by their guests.

1:25 p.m. Kiss me, Kate! The fairy tale moment has arrived. The newlyweds will emerge together on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, where they will wave for the assembled masses, smile and engage in their first public kiss as husband and wife for the no doubt braying crowd. In addition to marking their union with a royal snog, they will be joined on the balcony by the queen and members of their families. So don't expect the PDA to be too intense—royal or not, who wants to start tonguing in front of their grandma?

Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft, the Red Arrows fly over RAF Fairford on July 11, 2008 in Gloucestershire, England. 90 aircraft flew in formation over RAF Fairford as HM Queen Elizabeth II presented new Colours to the Royal Air Force and the RAF Regiment as part of the 90th anniversary celebrations of formation of the RAF in 1918. 1:40 p.m. The Queen-hosted reception begins at the palace, as 600 guests sip champagne and devour canap├ęs at the buffet-style brunch service. The two cakes—one fruit, one biscuit-based—will also be cut and served, and this is when Harry's best man speech is due to be delivered. William's hairline has been warned.

3:30 p.m. William and Kate depart the Palace and are driven through the Mall to St. James Palace, where they will enjoy a "period of reflection" to take in the morning's momentous events. And possibly engage in some other newlywed-type activities (too early to start trying for an heir?).

7:00 p.m. The couple, in what could be their final public appearance of the day, make their way back to Buckingham Palace for a final reception to be hosted by Prince Charles for 300 select members of their family and friends, which will not, it's been announced, include the queen. A much more intimate affair, this gathering will feature dinner and dancing and is expected to last long into the night.

7:01 p.m. The search for a new famous couple to obsess over begins.

Cant wait to watch it all!!
