August 2011 ~ The Glamorous French Housewife

{ Yawn }

Hello friends. Its 2 am here and I am getting ready to head to bed soon. Tonight has been a drunken night for Scott.. He got into the moonshine and is feeling it right now. I have no idea how he is going to be able to get up for work tomorrow. I am sure he will.. but he wont be feeling good.. thats for sure. Right now he is laying in the bathroom and hoping the room stops spinning. Hate to say it but I told him to calm down!

Well.. I did a lot of running around today so I didn't get as much unpacked as I had hoped I would. But I have a good start on things. Still so much to do. I have a ton of work that is going to take weeks to get it done. I kinda feel over whelmed to be honest.

The gas got hooked up finally.. Thank God. We filled up the big bath tub and just soaked some of the tiredness away. It felt amazing and the bath tub is HUGE.. which makes me super happy! Tomorrow we have plumber coming to fix a few things. I just found out tonight that the dishwasher does not work either.. I found that out after I filled it up.. yea.. not good.. so got to get that fixed asap too.

Sorry for the lack of blogging.. just lots to do!

Really tired so heading to bed, after checking on husby!

E-X-H-A-U-S-T-E-D

This post will not be too long. I am totally exhausted.. We are totally out of the old house and into the new.. Well last night we were into the new house but we still had stuff in the other house too.

Here is how we were watching tv the past couple nights but thankfully tonight all the tvs are hooked up and in the right rooms.. That little flat screen is in the kitchen now and a much much bigger one is in the bedroom.

Today was a crazy day. I mean I think today was the hardest day of all. I woke up this morning earlier than what I wanted.. about 830 .. only because Scott basically pulled me out of the bed.. but he had coffee waiting.. thankfully! We took off to get some breakfast and then

we teamed up with Michael and off we went.. I have to say.. Michael is awesome.. What a friend he is.. I mean.. he volunteered for hell day # 3. OMG.. I was so thankful for his help.. Scott was too.

Between the 3 of us, we got the house

all emptied and cleaned up..

I thought by the time we finished tonight.. it looked almost as good as it did when we moved in.

I mean it was a lot of work..

But as you can see we got it done! Scott is great about getting us moved. I mean this has been the hardest move we have ever made for a lot of reasons.. Timing, money, moving stuff.. I mean the list could go on and on but one thing is for sure.. WE ARE OUT OF THAT HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sooooo happy with that! I took a lot of pictures at the end just in case. I watch the Peoples Court.. and know that we should always protect ourselves!

After we got done with the house, we had to go to Home depot to get a new plug for the dryer.. The plug here had a different kind of plug..

took us right to where we needed to go.. Needless to say.. I was shocked!

We got home.. ate a little food and then Scott got started on the dryer..

and little Willow was there to help!

She was cute as can be in there watching him.

She is such a handful. Crazy Cat!

Anyway.. the house around here is insane. Boxes every where. We have the garage full with almost everything except the living room furniture, tvs and the big bed.. Everything else is waiting on me to unpack it and put it all away. I don't mind it so much because I can do it over a few days. I am going to work on clothes and the the kitchen.. Things we have to have.

I am extremely tired.. bruised up.. hurt every where but I am going to take my sleeping pills.. climb in bed next to Scott and start dreaming. I am so thankful I don't have to go any where tomorrow except the grocery store.

We were told the gas was only for the fire place but come to find out it its for the heat and for the water.. Soooo.. we have been heating water on the stove for baths. Thank God that is over tomorrow because the Gas will be hooked up.. Finally!! I can't complain.. Its a hot bath.. I am sorry about not getting the video up around the house. It got deleted some how.. But I will do a video or pictures after everything is put away or maybe a long the journey!

Anyway.. I will start going through emails when I have time but right now.. I am going to bed!!

All PACKED up.. plus a few pictures of the new house!!

Well today was all about packing!! I stayed home all day trying to get stuff packed.. But more about that in a few minutes.

We ended up getting the keys tonight so we headed in to check it out.. in the dark because the electric is off.. Michael came along!

Now I only got pictures of the first floor because the guys were rushing me.. we were using the light from my camera to see ( don't ask me why we didn't take flash lights ) and I didn't even think about the flash lighting up the picture.. So here are some pictures of the inside.. Ohh.. I will be up early and I plan on going to the house to do a video for you guys! I have to do it before we start moving things in!

Garage today.. God I hated it.. Spiders and bugs every where.. Even saw a blue lizard out there.

I got most everything I could done today. It just seems like a disorganized mess around here but its coming out tomorrow and Saturday. Scott said beds and tv are first, so we have places to sleep for the night. I am going to be hauling boxes back and forth over and over and over! The next couple of days are going to be crazy. I wake up to no power.. Yea.. I had to change it over to the other house and they will be coming between 8am and 9 pm and the same goes with the electric at the new house. It will be on between 8 am and 9pm. The tv and Internet are not going to be on till Saturday. So blogging might not happen tomorrow. Who knows. I might be able to piggy back off someone but I bet I am really tired tomorrow. I have to go to the water company tomorrow to get it turned on and its 20 miles away.. So thats an hr gone.. first thing in the am. So I have to get to bed soon. Scott wanted me to get to the dealership around 9 am but I am thinking it might be a little later than that. Scott will hopefully get off work early otherwise a lot of the moving wont happen until the evening. We'll see.

Well I am off to get some sleep. I have one more vacation post to get up in the coming days.. Its our last moments on the boat and coming home.

My 19 year old self.

If I could talk to this 19 year old girl.. I would tell her these things:

~ The decisions you make now will effect you later in life.. So be careful what you do.

~ There are other stores than the Limited.. I promise you.

~ Stay in touch with your good friends. they will prove to be loyal in the future.

~ Don't get your hopes up.. You will not be marrying John Bonjovi.

~ Beware of the man who puts his hands on you in a violent way. He won't change. and you deserve better.

~ You will have a short marriage that will not work out. It will feel horrible but..

~ You will, however, marry someone even better. He'll walk into your life when you least expect it. And turn it upside down.

~ When you meet him, don't just play hard to get.. be hard to get...It works like a charm!

~ ~ Your happily ever after is better than the fairytales - so don't worry about the jerks that will come in to your life temporary.. Prince charming will come along.. and you will be happy.

~ Not to mention, you will love his family as much as you love your own family!

~ Pay attention to math.. in college it just gets worse.

~ Open your eyes and try to figure out what inspires you.

~ You need to learn how to cope with death. you will loose a lot of dear people in your life.

~ Drugs will only hurt you. no matter how good they make you feel for the time being, it won't last.

~ Be aware of the wolves in sheep's clothing. They are every where even in your own family.

~ Hey KWatteau, Chat Rooms and Instant Messaging are a thing of the past. Technology gets much, much better.

~ You don't realize what great shape you are in right now. SEE IT and RELISH in it! :)

~ You will have 3 beautiful children. 2 boys and a girl. However, it won't be the life that you think it will be. Your husband will also have a beautiful daughter. Remember don't treat her like your step mom treated you.

~ Don't look down to tap your cd player while driving. This proves to be a accident that almost takes your life. PAY ATTENTION WHEN DRIVING!!!

~ You will have to toughen up. Life is not always easy.

~ Don't pretend you like dogs when you are clearly a cat person.

~ Be careful what you say to people you love. Words can really hurt and you won't really mean them.

~ Remember there is nothing like a mothers love.. and your mom has and will always love you so don't stress out over what happened to you when you were little. Life with her gets much much better.

~ Your father will always be your grandfather. No other man will be able to replace him.

~ You will be a stay at home wife and all those college degrees are kinda pointless because the student loans will still come due one day.

~ Do not say yes to all the credit cards.. The debt you will get will not be worth it.

~ Learn how to do laundry. This will keep you from destroying many pieces of clothes in your future.

~ Learn to save money instead of spending every penny. It will be one of the hardest lessons you will have to learn.

~ Don't worry about trying to please everyone. Not everyone can be pleased. Just live life to the fullest and the rest will fall into place.

~ Church will not be a huge part of your life. Just stay true to your own convictions and remember that God is all loving. Don't forget to pray... God hears them all.

~ ~ Keep your life goals a priority and don't change them just because they're not "the norm". You'll get there. And it will all be totally worth it.

Last evening on the boat!!!

After we got done with going to the chocolate buffet we headed out to the decks.. As you will be able to see it in the video below!

That boat was moving!!!

We then headed down to play the newly wed game..

This time I was allowed to record!

So I got a few clips of the game!

It was a lot of fun.. We all laughed so hard!!!! The older couple in the game was hilarious!!

We took a quick nap afterwards and then got cleaned up for our last dinner on the boat.

This month two girls in our Parker - Carnes Family had birthdays .. Vannessa and Laci so we had a little celebration for them..

As you can see Vanessa was soooooo red!! I think we really embarrassed

but she blew out her candle and listened to them sing happy birthday to her..

When got back to our room we had this little monster waiting on us!

I think its a gorilla!

We had to pack our things up and get them outside our door between 8-11 pm.. so we did that.. then it was time to party the night away..

Scott got busy getting the wine open with a little cork screw!

But he got it..

And the drinks were poured.. Not only did the wine get opened all the scope bottles that were full with vodka and a few other bottles of liquor were open and the night got started!
