{ Crockpot Week} Recipe #2 Crockpot Lasagna Photos & Video

Again its pretty simple to make..

First off brown up your meat.. if you are using meat.

Add  your pasta sauce and spices

Put a thin layer of meat in the bottom of the crockpot then start laying meat... cottage cheese or ricotta .. uncooked lasagna noodles and some of the shreaded Italian Cheese sprinkled on each layer.

Keep layering it up..

End with sprinkling a little cheese on the top.. don't worry.. more is added later!

Then fill up your pasta jar with water.. shake it.. and

pour it over the lasagna.

Put a lid on and cook on high and

 for 6-7-hours

turn to low and cook another hour.

Here's how mine looked after 8 hours on high..

I then turned it down on low and topped it with more cheese.

put the lid on and

waited about an hour to really melt the cheese.

I served this meal up with a simple side salad and garlic rolls.

And it was super good!

Everyone in the house loved it. Normally I just don't take the time to make lasagna when there are so many great frozen lasagnas in the store.. but this one is really good.. without hardly any effort. I have a lot of this.. so I am probably going to freeze some of it.

Overall, my family loved this meal. There was plenty of cheese to make everyone happy!  We all got our bellies full. Jackson had 2 helpings. The salad was a big hit too and all it had in it was carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes. Very simple.

On to Crockpot Meal # 3 Which is :
