Blogtember { Day 1 } Where I Come From:

Hello Friends! I am linking up with Jenni from Story of my Life for { Blogtember }Its a daily blog challenge starting Tuesday Sept 3 with weekends off! The full list of topics is below but today we area talking about:

Describe where or what you come from. The people, the places, and/or the factors that make up who you are.

I grew up in Southern Indiana in a big French family. I mostly lived with my grandparents on my fathers side. My mom and dad had divorced when I was still in diapers but they were still a huge part of my life. So it was a bit weird but looking back, I had so many people who loved me. I attended both public and private school raising as much hell as I could. I was just not a calm child. I had all kinds of issues in my teen years ( as many of us ) but my family was there every step of the way. I really learned the meaning of family and loyalty in those years.

My mom was always a huge part of my life. She still is. I had 2 huge families on both my mom and dads side that I love a lot. I divided my time between both. I split up holidays and special occasions which worked out pretty good.

My moms mom is still here with us and I became super close to her too. As the years have passed I have lost a lot of people on my dads side but I still have all my uncles, cousins and my grandmother on my moms side of the family. I feel blessed to have a family that I love so much. It seems to me that my childhood was more with my dads side and my adult years have been more with my moms side. Its funny how things work out. :)

(2) PinterestAll these people are inside of me. They are a part of my soul and no matter if they are still here with me or not, I carry them in my heart every day. I managed to get my shit together and go to college. I got married, divorced and had some beautiful children in the process. I got remarried to the love of my life and we have blended our families together. Everyday I am learning to be a better wife, mother, daughter, and friend. They challenge me in ways I never expected. Life has been a huge learning process for me... I don't think I would trade any of the hard times because they made me who I am. I now have the love and friendship of my husbands family. They have also watched me grow up over the last 10 years and have helped make me who I am today. I am really blessed to have came from a family that I adore and I keep moving forward to the next day. All the history of my life moves with me. All those lessons are forever stored in my soul. I am blessed in every way because of where I came from.
