Quick Mid Week Grocery Shopping Haul! :)

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful evening. I am back sharing a new quick mid week food shopping haul. We needed a few things and instead of trying to figure out the menu for next week as well, I just went ahead and went a picked up a few things. Here's what we got. Hope you enjoy!

I hope you can tell I did my best to make some better choices. I made the decision to go soda free and just take it out of the house completely. I think the boys are coping pretty good so far and for me, it simply wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. :) Thanks for stopping by...I'll see ya soon! xx

Plan with me! | Inkwell Press Planner | October 2015 |

Tuesday, September 29, 2015

Hello friends! I hope your evening is going well. I finally got everything done and basically sitting here with my feet up so thankful for a little downtime. It's been a long day! So far I have clocked in over 15k steps | 6.16 miles | and I still have till midnight until it rolls over and starts again. :)

I thought I would share with you my most recent planning video where I not only share planning but a little mini sticker haul too! I take you through my October planners/family calendar and then I decorate and plan this current week out. If you love planners, planner supplies, and or good piano music...this video is for you! Hope you can enjoy!

I can't get all my planning done in one video or even one day. New things come up pretty much everyday that have to be added. I love stickers for planning but remember they are totally not necessary to be efficient or organized. I don't intend on my planner being a scrapbook but adding a little color makes it a little more fun to figure out everything going on.

And it's just coincidence that I joined The Planner Addict Team today! You can read all about it in Tuesday Truths.  But I am totally excited! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll see ya tomorrow with a new haul! Have a beautiful and blessed night. xx

Tuesday Truths

Hello friends. Welcome back to another edition of Tuesday Truths where I kinda let myself be a little more snarky! Hope you enjoy.

- I have been soda | Mt. Dew | free for 5 days now! I can't believe it. I don't miss it a lot yet but I am not going back to it. Next time I take a sip, I want to hate it and find it disgusting. I am sure my body will be in some kind of sugar crack high happy to be reunited with it's old friend but it's simply not going to happen. However, I have been living on a lot of coffee. O-well....at least it's not soda.

- The past couple of days I have felt pretty rough. Gosh...I need to feel better ASAP.

- We have been getting fall showers for days. I don't really mind if the power doesn't go out but keeping the carpet clean from muddy feet and Super Coopers muddy paws.

- I seriously need to get to the grocery store in the next hour or so. What joy. I think a nap sounds better.

- Dear Jabba, I am so sorry for your awful owners. I am trying to not judge them but tossing you from a car was so terrible. I hope you rest in peace and I hope they have to pay for what they did. I would have totally adopted you. ♥

- Scott is working today which sucks but it's becoming more the norm than not to work on his scheduled off days. I wish he would find another job with less hours.

- I saw a poll that said if Hilary and Trump went head to head today, SHE WOULD WIN. Interesting huh? By 10 points.

cute-dog-running-on-a-treadmil--in-a-bear-costume- I have been walking my ass off on the treadmill getting in 5 miles a day. It's a lot. And it takes some time to get all that in. I didn't feel like it yesterday but I managed to push on and get it done. I felt like I was doing exactly what this cute dog/bear → is doing. Walk and slide. Walk and slide. Walk and slide. To be honest, I don't feel like doing it today either but I don't want to disappoint myself. But even if I was only to get 3 miles in instead of 5 that is still progress. Right? Right. It's hard to do on days you really don't feel good.

- Jackson has been so negative here lately. He's a little Debbie Downer to say the least. I think he is trying to make us miserable because he is grounded. If he would have made better grades, he wouldn't be in this position. He can do it...He has done it...and when he chooses the behavior and choices, he chooses the consequences.

- I have officially joined The Planner Addict Box team! Yep they hired me and I couldn't be more happy about it! They reached out to many of us planner ladies who love their boxes and brought us on board with the company. How amazing is that!? I won't discuss pay and all that but I will tell you that OUR :) Planning Boxes are amazing with a ton of products. You can see my videos right here and if you are interested you can sign up for $15 a month to get this very cool box. It's totally been one of my favorites. I had looked for a long time for a monthly planning box and I found this company in the beginning of building their business and have loved it every since. I was honored to be choose to work for them. See...planning really does lead to great opportunities sometimes! Break out those planners and organize your life..in style! BTW...you can meet all the other ladies who recently joined the team by visiting and following me on instagram. They are all linked on the picture. You check out their accounts because they have some amazing planner pictures. :) And while you are there, you can check out The Planner Addict Box too!

- I made some sweet tea last night for Scott and it tastes awful to me. Not sure why. Maybe it's the sugar or maybe it's the tea. I might buy some pre made stuff today to see if that tastes better or not. Maybe giving up a lot of the sugar has changed my taste buds. We'll see.

- The job our oldest daughter started last week decided today that they are closing her location. It's kinda sad but I have a ton of faith that she will find another very soon. She is motivated and I know she will move on to better things.

- I found a house I like. It's too far away Scott says. :(  I still don't know if I should just pull the plug and move up north to where the kids are or find a country house here. It's so confusing. If I find a house here....I am stuck here for at least one more year. Is it even worth it? Maybe it's time to just go home. And I never thought I would say those words though. I keep praying about it because it might not be the right decision.

- One of our kids has drifted so far from our sights. I can't talk about it in detail but it is so painful to our family. We did nothing wrong, continue to try with zero results. It's beyond our control at this point and there is only one person to blame. I forgive her but that doesn't change the fact that because of her actions many people have been deeply hurt. It's beyond sad. And I feel lost in the entire situation. We love all of our children with all of our hearts and right now we are just hoping for something good to happen.

- I wonder where people who work outside the house, get 2 hour workouts in. It feels next to impossible for me on busy days. I was walking at 11pm the other night to get it all in. I need more hours in the day. Gotta figure out a new schedule.

- I know I have been complaining all summer about nothing being on tv. Well now there seems to be too many of the shows I enjoy on and they do take up some time. I guess I will just walk and watch.

- I woke up with a ear ache and not sure why. I hate it too. Maybe I should put some cotton or something in my ear. Does that even truly help. Hum??

- I want you guys to know that I have been kicked around, lied about, and bothered online for years. It's nothing new. I have kinda gotten use to it and it's toughened me up. HOWEVER, I don't do this for the people who hate me or lie about me. I have never ever not been supportive to someone in the blog or youtube community. I have always supported other woman, family and friends who blog or make videos. I do this for the people who support me, support our family. Your sweet comments touch us every time. And your advice though the years has helped us in some of our hardest times. I love you guys.

I hope you have a wonderful day. I will be back this evening with a new video....I promise I won't forget! xx

Week in Review: September 21-28, 2015 | DITL Vlog & Weekly To Do's |

Monday, September 28, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. As many of you know... I post a week in review recapping what happened over the week & weekend. Its something that I have been doing off and on for years. Its just a simple way to give you guys a glimpse into our week. I have changed up the vlogging schedule where I will be uploading a Day in the life vlog Monday...as always and then another on Thursday. Monday's vlog will cover Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the previous week and Thursdays vlog will be for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So here is the most recent day in the life vlog from this past weekend. Hope you enjoy!

And here is the day in the life vlog from the beginning of the week! I have already posted this but I like to share it again in the week in review post because both vlogs were from the same week.

This past week:

In our area it rained a lot last week. I did my best to fight through being lazy with a hot cup of tea watching it rain and actually got busy around the house. I cleaned up a lot and also tried to get a lot of desk work in which included everything from paying bills, answering emails, responding to comments, and editing and uploading videos. I stayed on schedule pretty well with the videos even with the power outages, less daylight, and more things to do. Once I got all the the main desk work done, I played around with some of the stickers I shared in my latest etsy haul and got planning for October. Can you believe how fast the months are passing by? I sure can't. Christmas will be here before we know it. Anyway, I had some fun planning and figured out what the upcoming weeks have for us.

The days here have been cooling off with all that rain and having the back doors open has been more comfortable. Don't get me wrong, I leave it open all times of the year....less in the winter but I need fresh air. And so do the kitty cats. They love it when the doors and or windows open.

By time Wednesday rolled around I had finally made a decision. I have not been feeling my best for a few reasons but I decided to make some changes to get healthier. I strapped on my fitbit that I had not broken out of the package yet. I got that all working and started walking more. I just went out to the garage and got on that treadmill that I haven't really been friends with. I hooked up the fitbit app that shows me exactly where I am at with many different things but mainly my steps and miles. It was hard the first few days. But I just kept going. I also decided it was time to end the soft drinks in our house. The boys are not so happy about it either. I basically dumped a 12 pack of Mountain Dew down the sink and haven't looked back → That happened last Thursday. ← So we are all doing really well! I have been drinking a lot of plain water and trying to get use to it but sometimes I have been mixing up some different fruit blends just to make it taste a little better. It's helped!

Here are some of my most recent fitbit stats. You can click on the photo see it enlarged. I am including these just to share how far I have went and my progress. If you have a fitbit and want to join up with me you can find me under my email | mrskishajaggers@gmail.com | or I am simply listed under Kisha Jaggers. It's fun to encourage each other and compete in little challenges. It's very motavting for me to look down at wrist or over at my phone to see my progress while I am actually walking on the treadmill. I am trying to build up my endurance and I will be adding in a few other exercises a long the way. I am not coming off all sugar and carbs. It just will not happen but I am trying to cut back some. And maybe you will see some of those changes happening in upcoming food hauls. :)

Over the weekend, I actually brought the treadmill in the house. I just placed in the living room. At first it was looking at the wall and I was looking to my left to see the tv but that really got on my nerves and started bothering my neck after a few minutes. So I moved it again and got it right in front of the tv which Scott is not too fond of. I might end up having the cable guy come out and put a jack in the dining room and put a tv in there and workout in that room without obstructing the tv with the giant treadmill but for right now it is staying. I had to place the tv up on the desk until I figure out if I want to buy a mount or not. It's fine to me though and can stay up there for all I care. I can see it when walking and Scott and I can see it sitting in the living room. If you are sitting on the big couch it's a bit harder but hey...it's our house and it's ok for now.

Sunday Scott had some errands to run and I got back on the treadmill and decided I would walk until the pope started Mass. And that's exactly what I did. I actually watched the pope all week and found him so inspiring and humble. I found his messages lifting and he makes me want to be a better person. It was beautiful to watch. And the boys just had to deal with that too. It's strange around here. We all believe different things. I was raised a Baptist and then before I started Catholic I was baptized there. Scott is a Mormon and my children including Laura have been raised mostly out of the church but are very spiritual. We have many things in common. We believe in God, We believe in love and forgiveness, we trust in a high power to help us in life as well as death, we believe in miracles and we believe in prayer. The details don't always matter....the bigger picture matters the most to us. I want to raise healthy kind citizens that can take care of themselves and then help their communities and raise their own families. I just want to know they will all be able to stand strong on their own feet before I leave this world. It's only wish.

This week's to dos:

:: Get in my 5 miles today and everyday this week.
:: Go grocery shopping tonight and share haul tomorrow. { And it's getting late! }
:: Work in planner
:: Have Scott fill the bird feeder
:: Switch purses
:: Pick up Jackson's glasses from being repaired.
:: Still need to update chalkboard walls.
:: Dump photos and videos from phone
:: Water indoor plants
:: Turn in Jackson's field trip form
:: Brush out cats and brush Cooper out
:: Get to bed earlier
:: No Mt Dew or Cokes
:: Toss out old grill....it's time.
:: Clean vents and ceiling fans
:: Call about firewood...a job I keep putting off with all the rain.
:: Still gotta run to the post office soon.
:: Spend tomorrow zone cleaning
:: Return phone calls that I missed today. I have had to keep the phone on vibrate to get more done and finish this blog post.
:: Buy more sports bras
:: Get new blog book together.
:: Look for new house. I am just going to have to make it a priority if I want to move.
:: Send money with Jackson this week for the book fair.
:: Make more blueberry muffins for the boys....and I might have to have 1 too!

Here's some inspiration to take with you through your week:

Thank you guys for stopping by. I have been busy all day and I feel like I am about to fall over. I have a couple of miles left to get in if I plan on meeting my 5 mile goal and I will make it. I am counting every step!! I thought about skipping the grocery store and making something easy tonight and going tomorrow which probably will happen but that means I am back on the treadmill for a while! :/ I haven't drank a soda of any kind in days and it really hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. Maybe the harder days are yet to come and I am just naive...but so far so good! How's your Monday been going? I would love to talk to you either in the comments on the video or on here. I would also love it if you wanted to follow along on fitbit. It's been a very fun encouraging community to join up with and I am really enjoying it! It's amazing what this little tool around my wrist can do! I'll talk to you soon. xx

Week in Review September 21-25, 2015 | Lights Out! |

Saturday, September 26, 2015

Happy Saturday friends! I am sorry for forgetting to get this posted yesterday evening. I totally got busy and it slipped my mind. I have been doing my best to share not one but two vlogs a week. I ramble on sometimes and they tend to be long. So here is the beginning of our week where I share a little each day including a quick grocery haul! Hope you enjoy.

I am watching another mass right now that the Pope is leading. I think it's a great way to start the morning. :) Yesterday was my first soda free day in YEARS. I have known for a while now that I needed to do something about it. I was drinking 6-7 cans a day. No joke. But yesterday, those yellow dyed high fructose corn syrup and caffeine drinks that I have totally loved went down the sink. I am still drinking coffee and tea but no more soft drinks. Thank you for all the love on instagram and support! I love you guys. Have a great weekend. I'll see ya soon!

Friday Letters ♡

Friday, September 25, 2015

Happy Friday friends! Here is another edition of Friday Letters. - in no particular order!

Dear God, Please give me more patience while I deal with the outside world. I need to be more understanding even with people who seek to lie about me and hurt me. Thank you for listening to my prayers and more importantly thank you for protecting our kids.

Dear Rain, thanks for taking out our electricity last night. Now I have to figure out a way to go back and watch all my Thursday night shows. AND THEY WERE ALL SEASON PREMIERS! Thanks a lot.

Dear Cooper, You look so peaceful lying on your bed right now. And it has to feel better on your elbows and hips.

Dear Coffee, you are like my sweet treat for the day. I might give up soft drinks for the most part but  I NOT giving my coffee. No way...no how!

Dear You Know Who, I would never ever do what you suggested. I don't know why you keep coming to my blog. If you think what you do, then please stay away. I thought you were a good person but you opened my eyes this week. Really you are a stranger and no one important to me. I felt like I was singled out by a bunch of haters and guess what you totally fell for it. I think you need to break out that bible more. You are wrong...wrong..wrong...and it's not easy for me to just drop it. I feel like I have to defend myself but I don't. I am done with this drama. It's amazing to me how catty the online mommy bloggers/youtubers can be.

Dear Scott, sorry you were so cold last night. I think it was just the cold rain coming down. I hope today is not so stressful for you. I love you.

Dear Pope Francis, I am a Catholic but I don't really practice it. After years of Catholic school, I just couldn't handle it any longer. However just seeing your presence in our country and the love you have and are spreading is infectious. And your message do unto others as you would want others to do to you was powerful. It reminded me that I have to remember that my feisty temper is not always the best answer. May God be with you.

Dear Body, I am working on making you healthier and stronger. Hopefully you will thank me one day.

Dear Laci, I am so happy you had a great birthday. I love you so much and glad that you are doing good at work and home. It's all about balance I guess. I am going to work on getting you a fitbit! :) I want mom to get one too.

Dear John Boehner, Your sudden departure as Speaker of the House, was shocking today. I just didn't think that would happen. And you made me totally happy with that announcement. But just maybe it's because you too are tired of the direction your party is going in. I wish you well.

Dear Brittany, I love you so much. All I want is for you the rest of the kids to be able to take yourselves, be good citizens and make a difference. Your everything to me and I am so proud of you.

Dear Romeo, You were so sweet this morning when I woke up to find you under the covers snuggled up against me. You are the best cat I have ever owned and my life is so much better because of you. I would seriously clone you if it was possible. Your attitude, beauty and presence is beyond measure. I love you!

Dear TV, I have to admit that you have gotten better this past week. However, the rain ruined all the new Thursday night shows. * Sigh

Dear Trina, I am so thankful for all your help and advice. I am so glad you are getting a new fitbit and joining in! I can't wait. :) We love you.

Dear Treadmill, we have some more work to do today. 5 miles and I want to get them all in before the sunsets. I use to hate you but not so much anymore.

Dear Jackson, thank you for making more of a effort this past week at school. I know it's not your favorite thing to do but it's really the only thing you have to focus on right now. Just keep trying and we are always here to help you. I love you.

Dear Miranda Kerr, I have always thought you were knock dead gorgeous but after reading this story, I see the beauty goes way deeper than the outside. I am sure those elephants will thank you too.

Dear Laura, I am so proud of you for everything you are doing. I know it's not easy starting a new job but you made it through the first week!!!! :) It's a start and you worked hard in college to get this start. We love you and your dad and I are so very proud of you.

Dear Planning Stickers, I love you. End of story.

Dear Kim Davis, I tear you apart not because of your beliefs but because you hold a public office sworn to uphold the laws of our country. Same sex marriage is legal. You have to deal with that or step down. And your taking your name off the form is not right. You are the clerk....if you don't want your name on there, quit. I support you in your beliefs. I really do. You don't have to like gay marriage but being a public servant, you have to serve our public no matter who they are.

Dear Grandma, I know I don't call like I use to. I miss you so much. We use to talk 4-5 times a day and it's been hard not having you in my everyday life. It's actually heartbreaking. I know you won't read this but somehow maybe the energy from the universe will travel this message around until it reaches you soul. I love you grandma and I am sorry I am not there. I think Rick is trying his best to take care of you and I am sorry if things don't make sense. Your family really does love you. I think it's just hard for them to deal with too. Next time I come up there, I promise I will come see you.

Dear Conservatives, I know you might think you landed on the wrong blog. Don't think that. We might not see eye to eye on Kim Davis, Republicans, and so on but I like hearing your point of view too. Mine are simply different. BUT... I live with a conservative republican and you can totally be on team Scott! :) I can't wait till the next debate.

Dear Mom, thank you for being so inspirational. I know you know what you are talking about. I just have to put in the effort. And again, if I turn into some super mega bitch in the next few days, I ask for forgiveness ahead of time. No Mountain Dew or soft drinks from today on will probably shock my body and mind. I am going to continue sweet tea sometimes but mostly water from this point out.....wish me luck!

Dear Wind, I am surprised you haven't shredded our umbrella or took it for a ride out in the yard or our neighbors yard. I probably wouldn't go fetch it either. It's just so nasty outside but we needed the rain.

Dear Blog/Youtube Friends, Even though there is enough crazy in this world, you guys that have came along with this journey for YEARS who have inspired us, is why I write on this blog and make videos. I am so thankful for the wonderful friendships and relationships that I have made from this. I am thankful for the smart and loving village we have made together where we support each other and lift each other up. You guys have given me some of the best advice on everything and I will never forget it. If you are new here, join in...and share your thoughts and opinions. ♥

Thank you guys for stopping by. I am going to go get in a workout on the treadmill for a while and then get some things done around the house. It's storming right now and it's quiet in the house. I should have a new video up in a couple hours. Come back and check it out! xx

♡ Huge Etsy Planner Sticker Haul! ♡ | Part 1 |

Thursday, September 24, 2015

Hello friends! I hope your Thursday is going well. I am back sharing a fun new etsty sticker haul. I understand that stickers are really not necessary for planning. I think it's just fine if you break out a pencil or pen and get planning. I don't plan just to decorate a little book with stickers. I plan to make my life so much easier and I hope that's why you plan too. I do like stickers sometimes because I think they have more of an impact when you need something to stand out. Plus a little extra color is nice! If you wan to see what I got, here's the video. Hope you enjoy!

This video was so fun to film and I hope it was fun for you to watch. I don't buy this amount of stickers often however, all the stickers have still not arrived. Once the last pack of stickers arrive in my mailbox, I will be sure to share the 2nd part of this haul. If you are interested in checking out the shops I featured in this video their links are below. All but two have offered surprise discounts using the codes provided in case you want to purchase something. :)

Tuesday Truths:

Wednesday, September 23, 2015

Hello friends. It's been a long day but I thought I would take a little time to get some snarky thoughts out of my head! Hope you enjoy!

- I have to be honest, I have totally been loving the back and forth between Donald Trump and Bill O'Riley. It's great that the Donald is boycotting Fox news. Ha! I feel totally the same for different reasons of course.

- Have I mentioned I have a wonderful sister in law? She totally helped me out today in a couple of ways including giving me a ton of helpful tips about my new fitbit.

- Our golden retriever is on a bunch vitamins and meds. It's kinda nuts but we are trying to make him comfortable and extend his life as long as we can. I am still very confused about putting down an animal. We are no where near that point, but I don't like the idea of playing God but I don't like knowing a animal is suffering either.

- For some reason the days have been going by super fast. I am not use to it even when I am getting up early. I feel like all day I was playing catch - up.

- There's a situation I feel that I have been treated wrong and basically wrongly accused. This person means nothing to me and is not in my family or anything but it's ok. I have broad shoulders and can totally handle it. I am not the best at sugar coating things and I don't pretend to be perfect but I work hard at being kind and constantly trying to improve myself. Sometimes people disappoint you. It's a fact of life.

- Jackson has less and less time with tv and electronics. His grades are not the best and he seems to be getting so lazy. I think a lot of it is his age but I have been all over him trying to get him more organized and mature. He's totally a work in progress. But less electronics including tv is giving me some of the results I want. So hey...too bad for Jackson. If his grades were better, he would get more of what he wants.

- I totally want to see Ride Along 2 . I love Kevin Hart. He makes me laugh so hard! I am not sure if he tops Kat Williams but he's a total favorite. :)

- Scott seems to be stressed out a lot over work right now. It's a hard industry he's in and he doesn't have a lot of down time. I think he needs a vacation.

- I have been working out a little harder and a little longer the past few days. The treadmill and I have a love hate relationship but we have been spending more time together. My mom should be happy. Oh yea...got a new fitbit like I mentioned above to track things and help motivate me. Maybe I'll do a review in a few months.

- I published a new planner haul on youtube tonight. I just didn't have time to get the blog post. Go here if you want a sneak peak!

- The touch pad on Scott's phone is not working and he is having himself a little fit over it. It will probably have to wait until tomorrow when the store opens or maybe he can dig up a old phone around here. I think it's silly to worry about a phone like he does.

- My desk needs to be cleaned up. Anytime I am busy with bills, paperwork, products to review and so on the desk just gets so busy and messy. That's totally going on my to do list tomorrow.

- I hate laundry....have I mentioned that yet? Still got to fold another load before I go to sleep.

- The cats ate just a little while ago and they are using our house as a racetrack. I am on the 2nd floor and it sounds like the 4 of them are bringing the house down. And I think my family has got use to that noise which is nice for the speed kittys.

Well....sorry this is going up a little late. It's been a busy day! Hope your Wednesday went well. Feel free to let me know how you are doing! See ya tomorrow! xx

DITL Vlog: Week in Review September 17-21, 2015

Tuesday, September 22, 2015

* And I just want to point out that I was not picking on Jackson in the video. In some of the comments, a few of you guys didn't like me speaking of Jackson and his grades. We work hard with him and expect him to do well. We are very involved and we care. He has to mature and grow up a little more so he can get serious about what he needs to do in school.

And here is the day in the life vlog from the beginning of the week! I have already posted this but I like to share it again in the week in review post because both vlogs were from the same week.

This past week:

Life was pretty calm. I don't really mind it either. There were no travels, no big surprises, and nothing that didn't really catch us off guard. I shopped and got our home stocked up with a few of the necessities, Coopers bed came in ( and thank you for all your comments and advice on the video ) and started him on a new diet. More pumpkin...less food. We had more rain this week than what we had in a while. Even today, it looks like it is about to pour down. I am grateful after seeing all the fires happening out west. Fall is here though. No matter how much I have been in denial, it has crept up and hit us. Leaves are coming down pretty much every minute of the day. Less sun it seems. Flowers dying back. Another season has arrived.

Scott worked a lot of hours this past week. It amazing that after such long hours that he can come home happy....exhausted but happy! Sometimes its hard when I am already tired to deal with the excitement of the house when he walks through the door but he has the ability to put a smile on anyone's face; which is probably why he is such a good salesmen. I occupied my time around the house, searching for hedgehog birthday gifts, and playing with new washi tape and stickers that have been arriving. I have also been trying to get on the treadmill more and even started a basic workout dvd that I really don't care for that much but it's helping me stretch out my muscles more and so on. I am not a work out happy person but a little exercise does the body good!

Saturday after Scott got off work we went out for a night on the town! :) Well...kinda. We were suppose to go to dinner and a movie but Scott rolled in late and we didn't have time to go sit down and eat. Instead we went to probably the worst Mc Donalds I have ever been to. It was awful. I didn't eat anything and complained the entire time. I actually had a comment on the What's Cookin Video wondering why I hated dinner being I love fast food. I don't love Mc Donalds ever. I love Chic Fila. And even if we did like Mickey D's; which Jackson does like a lot doesn't mean we are happy with bad service or food no matter where we are. It was probably the worst fast food experience I have had in a while. I kinda let that go when we got to the movies and I got a few treats to hold me over. We were at the Imax to see Everst which I was excited to see but being in a theater makes me feel nervous. I feel like we are sitting ducks in the dark but Scott assured me that all go well. Besides a few glances at the exits from time to time, we were able to enjoy the movie in 3d with our silly glasses. The movie was really good and sad at the same time. After I got home I really researched all the people in that expedition.

9 people in the photo above died on that mountain in 1996. It was a great movie to see yet heart breaking.

Sunday was just a rest day around our house. Scott wasn't feeling good and we were all tired after a long night out. So it was hard for us to get motivated. And lets face it, its hard to do anything when the boys are laying around. So I just worked online for the most part and got my What's Cookin' video up. I didn't get a Sunday Inspiration blog post up but I did answer a lot of emails. Sorry if you are still waiting on a reply. I could only get so many but I am getting there. Just be patient and if it's super important resend it. We had a simple dinner and just enjoyed a night at home. Nothing that exciting. I think by 9:30 we were all in bed. I actually stayed up and watched a zombie movie with Brad Pitt which kinda freaked me out. I came down to the kitchen and was on the phone a little later into the night and was scared a zombie was going to creep up on me while getting a cup of hot tea. Yea. Not smart to watch that before going to sleep. Brad Pitt was nice to look at though! :)

Today started a little early today. I got up with both the boys and finished up the vlog that I should have finished last night instead of watching zombie movies.

Here's a little of what I have going on around here this week:

- Dr. apt for Jackson
- Zone cleaning the kitchen
- Bathing a couple of the cats.
- Meet with Jackson's teachers.
- Start getting out fall decorations
- Run more on the treadmill. Each day go longer.
- Spend time at the desk paying bills.
- Make time to read more
- Food prep some dinners for a few nights.
- Work on finding blogs to sponsor this month.
- Brush out kitty cats.
- Menu plan for next week.
- Go pick some apples with the boys...and bake pie
- Get flu shots sometime this week maybe...next week.
- Make run to post office to mail giveaway prizes and boxes for the girls.
- Clean blinds through out the house.
- File papers away
- Buy Jackson a new planner of sorts.
- Prepare for all the October birthdays.
- Make more yummy granola bars...and I will be recording and sharing the recipe soon!
- Clean out trashcans with soap and a disinfectant
- Have Scott fill up bird feeder. He hung it too high for me to fill.
- Journal more.
- Finalize fall trip. I'll tell ya more about that soon!
- Start 21 day Beach Body Program. Yep. you read that right. My mom is a big believer in it so hey...I guess I am going to listen to her and give it a try!

Here's some inspiration to take with you through the week:

Thank you guys for stopping by. Yesterday I was having some editing and computer issues going on through the day and it took forever to get the most recent vlog live on youtube. Sorry...you know how I hate the schedule to be messed up! How's your Tuesday going?  Scott is working today :( which sucks but I guess I have more time to get things done I guess.

What's Cookin' Our Daily Meals | Cook with Me | Video

Sunday, September 20, 2015

Hello friends! Happy Sunday to you all. Around here life has been pretty calm today. We have all being laying around watching the hours pass by while accomplishing very little. It's Sunday after all and we like to use this day to relax, regroup and prepare for the upcoming week. This video I am sharing with you all, share our daily dinners with you. Even when I am out of the kitchen enjoying dinner out, I share it. You guys told me that you wanted to see all the meals and I try to listen. Hope you enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed the video. I know we all eat different. We are not a sugar free...gluten free family. We try to get pretty healthy but some times we like to switch things up with a fun dinner like the waffle dinner we had on Friday night. It's fun and the boys love it. If you have any questions or comments let me know! I hope you have a great night. xx

Saturday Randoms

Hello friends. Here are some Saturday randoms bouncing around in my head. Hope you enjoy!

♥ It's a beautiful day here. Jackson and I actually slept in and it felt really good.

♥ I want to start buying more paintings and pieces of art work that I love. BUT...they are all so expensive. Actually maybe I should start start painting again.

♥ The bathroom smells amazing... like Scott's cologne. It reminds me of him every time I walk in there.

♥ I love all the planner stickers that have been coming in this week. I'm waiting for them all to come in for a sticker haul but it's so hard not using them! - happy happy! -

♥ I feel like my neighbors are mowing their grass later because of my complaining. I feel bad about it too. They have every right to be here and really can mow anytime they want. Mornings use to make me bitch but I am doing better.

♥ Jackson hates school. I'm pretty sure I have told you guys that. His grades could and should be much better. He's grounded and it doesn't even seem to bother him much. Where is his motivation button??? I really need to find it!

♥ I just found out yesterday that one of my uncles has stage 3 cancer. I am not really close with him but he really is one of the nicest family members I have. Maybe I should send a card or something. Not sure.

♥ I have a ton of emails that I need to respond to. I am going to try to get caught up by the weekend. So sorry. I read each one when it arrives but don't always respond in a timely manner.

♥ Scotts work messed up payroll and just cut regular checks. Gosh...that's so inconvenient. Direct deposit makes life so much more simpler. Now I got to go try to make a deposit at the ATM sometime. I guess I shouldn't complain because they at least paid him.

♥ Have you guys heard how Kim Davis is back at it with the gay marriage. She is altering the marriage certificates possibly making them invalid.  This woman seriously needs to get fired. And I hate hate hate the idea of paying her any kind of unemployment. She is totally violating her position. God is love and it makes me sad to think of him as mean or vengeful. She is running her own agenda and in my personal opinion, it has absolutely nothing to do with God.

♥ I think I am going to make some chocolate chip chewy granola bars. If the recipe turns out good, I will be sure to share it with you!

♥ I have had the hardest time figuring out snap chat. I know that sounds silly but for some reason I am at a total loss. I guess I need talk to Brittany Belle. She's the resident 14 year old social media adviser in our home!

♥ Speaking with our kids I get a lot of questions about which kids are here. Brittany is at her dads, Jackson is here. Laura is up where Brittany lives and our other child I cannot talk about. I can't tell if you if they here or not. I can't tell their name. I can't tell you anything. I am sorry if that bothers you but we are basically under a gag order. Just know we love all of our kids and all are doing ok.

♥ I am totally going to go out to the garage in a bit and do a quick pick up of my car. It needs it and shouldn't take too long. I just wonder why it's my car that gets messed up all the time.

♥ Over the weekend I also need to dye my hair. The gray's are showing! I even found a gray eyebrow hair about died. I pulled it right out! I guess I really am getting old.

♥ I was sitting on the back porch earlier and was enjoying some coffee. A few neighborhood kids a couple of houses down were paying outside. They looked so happy and innocent. I loved hearing them giggle. :)

♥ We are thinking that by the end of October, we will probably being buying a hedge hog for Jackson. I have to admit, they are pretty cute. I have been doing a ton of research on them trying to figure out if it would be a good fit for our home and family. It would live primarily in a cage with all the hamster wheels and such. Pretty easy maintenance from what I have read and might be a nice pet for a 13 year old little boy. I don't know really but trying to figure it out. If you have a hedgehog I would love to hear about your experiences. :) And yes... the new puppy will also be happening soon...I hope!

♥ I am thinking about going to the farmers market. However, I know I will want to buy a pumpkin and it's just too early! But some fresh fruit and veggies sound good.

♥ I also still need to find a new grill. I saw that Walmart would put them together for free if we buy it there. Considering Scott doesn't really even know what a hammer is for, it would really help! So maybe I can find one on sale. My little old fallen apart grill is still out in the yard and while it still does a great job of cooking our food, it looks bad and Scott hates it!

♥ I was talking with a girlfriend who really hates her job. She was telling me how awful it was and it simply made me feel grateful for being able to stay home. My ex husband worked hard and I got to stay home while the kids were young and Scott works hard enough for both of us...← his words not mine! I am blessed to be here everyday and I don't take one minute for granted.

I hope you having a wonderful weekend. I will be back later with a new video! xx

Friday, September 18, 2015

Making Him Comfortable - DITL VLOG September 14-17, 2015

Thursday, September 17, 2015

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful evening. I am back saying hi and sharing a new day in the life vlog! The vlogs on the week in reviews are always so long that I thought I would just go back to sharing 2 vlogs in one week. I know many of you guys enjoy these videos even though they are not always exciting but it's our lives....take it or leave it.  Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for all the sweet comments on youtube re Cooper. You guys seem to be as devoted to your animals as we are. Cooper is not dying or anything but he is very uncomfortable and we are just trying to prevent a lot more trouble in the future. It's a constant struggle but one day at a time right!?

Thanks so much for stopping by. It's been a busy day of just doing random jobs around the house. I am kinda sleepy right now but I am going to move forward right into the kitchen soon to get dinner under way. Jackson came home with a few not so good grades on his mid terms so we are dealing with that. It's so hard to motivate a child when they really dislike school. I think he is going to have to suck it up, do the work and learn it otherwise it's going to be an extremely hard year for him. Right now he is grounded from all internet and we are going to have a talk with his teachers. But really he is the only one who can do it. I think we are going to have a long talk tonight about better study habits, organizing the back pack better and see why he is struggling so much. It breaks my heart but I honestly think a lot of it is Jackson just being lazy and not doing what he has to do. We will not give up though. :)

Anyway, I need to wake up and move on into the evening. Thanks for stopping by! I'll see ya tomorrow. xx

Tuesday Truths

- I am so ready for the debate tomorrow evening! It's going to be a lot of fun to watch. I can't wait to see how Donald Trump acts.

- It's so freaking hard for me to get down all the new vitamins I am taking. It kinda makes me sick just thinking about it. I guess that's the trick...NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT! Hopefully they will do some good.

- I am trying to give up some of the sugar I love so much. I think it having a " bitch effect " on me. I was just snappy as ever yesterday. Not angry just not nice. Take my carbs away and I get angry....but still trying.

- I haven't gotten on the treadmill yet today and my body is aching. Walking really does loosen things up a little more. Gosh... I must be getting old for everything to pop and ache. :(

- Someone did something not so nice to one of our kids last week and we are still dealing with it. I could ring their necks but the outcome is nothing like they wanted. We win. But it's had a lasting effect I am afraid.

- Earbuds are becoming a hot commodity in our home. I won't share my Apple ear buds because they always come back broken or even worse they get lost. I guess the boys are going to have to start taking better care of theirs.

- I keep looking for houses to move into. I am kinda conflicted. Should I stay here until I move up to Indiana again or do I move to a country house and get up north later? Idk what to do. I stay in and try to not bother the neighbors. I try to be kind to all the stray animals around here. I really don't think the neighborhood is bad but I miss a country house. I want to walk to the mail box without being seen. I want to be able to talk on the phone on my porch without being heard. Hopefully God will lead us to the right house either here or in Indiana.

- I hate to complain but now that the air conditioning is working on the 2nd floor, its freezing all the time upstairs. I was so cold last night. I should have went and cuddled with Scott but then I would have to deal with wild kingdom in there plus his snoring. I just froze alone in bed all night.

- I actually watched Cinderella last night. I totally want the black Persian cat in the movie and I like that the 2015 movie is not as animated. Wonder if you guys knew that Scott got down on his knee at the Disney Castle!? It was silly but it was one of the first big vacations we took before we got married. It was fun but really not my idea of a vacation. Yea...tons of kids...hot sweaty days hiking around a theme park is so overrated in my opinion. Anyway, the movie was great!

- My phone has been blowing up with emails. Guess what? Youtube got their crap together and the comments are coming back through! Yay!! Thank you guys for all your kind words.

- The woman in this story kinda shocked me this week. I can handle death photos but her smirk is a little too much. It's not her dead husband that bothers me...it's the kids and the mom looking freaking happy. Sorry... I try to not judge other mothers but what the hell. To me it just seems cruel rather than a public service announcement. And FYI...I could totally watch Intervention or something to see the effects....not a happy photos of mom and kids and dads funeral. *Sigh.

- I've made peace with Hilary not winning the Presidential election. I guess many people are worried about those emails. Each to their own because the email mess doesn't bother me in the least. I am starting to think it's actually going to be Donald Trump. Who knows...we'll see.

- I feel like another one of our kids is drifting further and further away. We are paying every night for them and hope before long our prayers are answered. Raising kids is one of the hardest jobs out there...and their is no one size fits all with them. Each is different and patience is required to say the least. However, I feel like I am lost in a deep rabbit hole.  [ Sorry if you don't understand but I can't really speak much about it in detail. ]

- I got up and placed a large Inkwell Press Order. It went live at 10am with all the new 2016 planners and accessories. I can't wait until they come in! If you haven't checked out their products yet you can right here. This is one of the only planners that I have used for the ENTIRE YEAR! I did try going back to the Erin Condren for a couple of days but sorry...the paper quality is so amazing. EC Planners do not compare and they cost more.

- Bindi - The Crocodile Hunters daughter - was on Dancing with the Stars last night. I totally teared up over the clip about her dad who died so tragically. She danced really good too opposed to Paula Dean. Bindi is my favorite! Erin Andrews is doing a great job too. Actually I liked the Marine guy, and I also liked watching Nick Carter dance! I am happy happy some of my favorite shows are coming back on! TV has been so bleak lately where I have wanted to cancel the cable but it's slowly getting better. :)

- Scott has been unhappy with me a little bit because I refuse to go to the movies. I am still kinda ok with the Imax but personally I don't want to die for the new Mission Impossible movie. I would rather watch it in the saftey of my own home. Scott thinks fear is only going to hold me back but I think it's going to keep us alive. Isn't it sad how things have changed? If I do go to the movies, I constantly watch the exit doors and everyone who is moving around. I feel like a sitting duck. And yes....I am scared to even send my kids to school which is so sad.

- Carly Fiorina has been slowly moving up. I don't mind listening to her ramble on but what pisses me off is she says she is for womens rights but opposes funding to Planned Parenthood, Opposes womans maternity leave....anti choice and so much more. I think it will be so fun to watch Donald Trump tear her to pieces. She is nothing about women. And don't send me emails. It is what it is...look it up.

- Scott is home today from work. He's out mowing the grass. A silent lawn mower would be nice? Do they even make those? I guess soon I won't have to worry about it. Come October we probably won't have to mow anymore.

- I got one of my credit cards paid off this week! I was paying for a camera I got a while ago and now that bill is gone. Yay!!

- I am thinking about signing up for a calligraphy class. It's something I have wanted to do for a while and I think it would be fun and I think it would be so nice to know how to make all those beautiful letters. Not sure though if I should do an online class or actual class. Knowing me....it will be a online class.

- My grandmother is not doing well. I wish I had the courage to try to talk to her more. I don't think she remembers me and it's so heart breaking. I think my mom is changing her travel plans over Thanksgiving to just go be with her. I am not sure if I can get it worked out with Scott to be up there over Thanksgiving and Christmas both or not but I totally understand.

- Cooper's meds from the Vet didn't seem to help. Guess I got to call and try to get something different and probably stronger. It won't be long before we will have to carry him up the stairs every night. It's sad to see. We are trying to get the extra weight off of him which is not so easy. And we are trying a ton of things to make it better for him.

I hope you guys are having a great Tuesday. I will be back a little later with a new video. Be sure to come back and check it out!
